CLASER Version 2.03 Copyright 1987 by Keith P. Graham Claser is a LaserJet utility which performs several useful functions for users of the HP LaserJet and compatible laser printers. 1) Replaces the DOS MODE.COM for users of LaserJets with serial ports. It allows switching between LPT1: LPT2: and COM1 and COM2 through menus. 2) Provides Font setup and control though menus or simple flags imbedded in text. 3) Provides graphics screen dumps. 4) Provides emulation of almost all Epson escape sequences. This includes graphics. LaserJets with limited memory can do full screen page high resolution graphics by emulating an Epson because the Claser algorithm sends only black dots to the printer. 5) There are 18 pages of on line help screens. 6) There are many miscellaneous functions which do things like resets, line feeds and page ejects as well as 66 lines per page setup. Claser previously has been sold only through mail order. This is the first BBS version of Claser and registration is requested.
